In addition, the license does not expire – if you have purchased Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Standard once, you can continue to use it permanently.

Microsoft deliberately designed the program this way. The strengths were built on – the wheel was not reinvented, but improved. The additional connectors are an excellent example of this. Workloads can be run in different environments in Microsoft 2019 SQL Server. You can work locally with the software solution, but you can also run it over several public clouds. In this way, it doesn’t matter what infrastructure you have – you can always use SQL Server Standard 2019.
